SWAT - Volunteers

All members of SWAT are volunteers. SWAT could not continue without the efforts of these people who donate their time, skills and energy to the organization.

Want to help out our organization, but not sure how? Here are some ways you can contribute:

Adoption Days

Volunteer to be a dog handler at our weekly Adoption Days. For more information contact Kathy Smith, our Adoption Day Coordinator, at (509) 200-2303.

Foster Family

Volunteer to be a foster family for companion dogs or cats. For more information, contact Sarah Ricks, our Foster Family Coordinator, at (509) 520-8263 or apply online at our website by clicking the Foster Care Form button on the left.

Administration

Volunteer to help with SWAT administration. For example, our new website was completed by a volunteer who used his computer skills to help us make SWAT more accessible to the public.
